Corsair Obsidian 750D
Intel Core i7 4790K 4.0 GHz
Corsair Power Supply 650W RM650
Asrock Socket 1150 Z97 Extreme4
Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 CL9 1600MHz
nVidia GeForce GTX 970 Strix OC
Corsair Hydro H105
Seagate 2TB Barracuda
Kingston 120GB V300

I want to mention that i intend for this build to last long and that's why i put an i7 and a 970 so that i can SLI in the future if upgrade is needed(possible), All i ask for is some opinions cause in my point of view it's a decent build.

OK, Great build!!! I only recommend a few things but they are going to save you money. First, You probably don't need 16gbs of ram unless you are doing some editing and designing. Second I recommend you look at evga for he 970 as they are a great brand and have great prices! Finally see if their is micro center were you are as they have a great deal on the 4790k!

As I mentioned I intend for this build to last. That's why I chose 16gbs.....though you have a point. If you take into consideration the fact that i can save about 100 euro....yeah that's kinda good. Great deal ? Like what ?

why dont you you for an i5 cpu, scale down to 8 gigs RAM and maybe you'll save up enough money to get a gtx 980 even. also, if you're not planning on overclocking, you could go for a cheaper CPU cooler.

it's a nice build though

An i5 seems too weak to me. I dunno why but i think i7 is what I need.

Ram is an incredibly easy thing to add in the future.

If it's a dual channel can I add another dual and make it a quad ? Of course the exact same pair.

OK. I would have only 2 minor complains.
1st. That case is kinda expensive however it's good looking and a great case.
2nd. The ram should be 1866 as minimum because the 'sweet spot' on gaming is slowly going to that speed (now days is 1600).

I think I'm going to change that 16gbs into a Corsair Vengeance 8gbs CL 9 1866mhz ;)
Also I could change the case for a 350d.....I'm actually unsure of what I am getting because I am months away before i gather up the money.
