Please help guys!

I need a headset that has great audio quality for music and games! The headset would primarily be used for listening to music, but I also plan to game as well.

Requirements:
Has a microphone that is clear enough to do podcasts with (not in-line either)
Mic that is either retractable or removable (I might take this with me to class or something and I don't want the mic in my way)
Not over $100
3.5 mm jack (NOT USB)
Good bass, but not too powerful
From a good brand
Something that is well made and will be durable
Over ear cups
Something that is comfortable enough to use for hours on end
Can fold up (not a necessity, but it'd be nice)
Surround is nice, but not necessary
I'd rather it not be wireless

All suggestions are appreciated!!

Well, the V6 or 7506 are some of the best sounding headphones under $100, and are competitive with anything under $200. Their biggest negative is: They're studio headphones - big, long chord, not designed with fashion in mind.

Aside from those negatives, they're pretty amazing. Not to mention the decade+ durability most people get out of them.

You might want to look into a "modmic" to stick on a nice pair of headphones.

Well. This is quite the tall order. How serious are you about getting the best mic and the best headphones for ~$100? If performance is your only metric, stop thinking about headsets. It's not going to happen.

My personal advice if you really want good audio with a decent mic:

Find a Sony MDR V6 or MRD 7506 (like Joseph DeGarmo linked) and pair them with a standalone USB microphone.
I hear this is one of the best for the price: http://www.amazon.com/Samson-Mic-Portable-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B001R76D42/.

This combo, while a bit over $100, gets you an amazing pair of headphones that will quite literally never die, and a better mic than what's on any headset.

The microphone is probably the least important requirement. I just want something that has great quality with both music and games.
