Best AMD Cpu For Editing And Gaming?

Errmm,

You're better off going with an Intel CPU unless you have a good reason why you want to stick with an AMD CPU.

AMD CPUs are great though (had a few before) but if you want the best, usually Intel will do it but costs more. I prefer AMD when it comes to price/performance but looking at your rather expensive build, I think Intel is more suited for that.

Especially driving two GTX 980s, it might be better to get an Intel processor.

But to answer your question, the best AMD CPU is the FX-9590 I believe.

i would go for an 8320/50 if it were an amd build. but as stated, Intel is the route to go if you get the right cpu.

The best for editing? maybe 8350, it doesnt draw power like the 9590. For video editing and multithreaded performance the 8350 is a good buy vs the i5
