When will the asus strix 980 be released??

I have been saving up for the asus 980 strix because i have triple monitors and my crossfired sli 7770s kinda suck. So i see the strix 970 but how about the 980?

It would be hard to tell. Companies usually don't say when they will release a product until its actually gonna come out. Its sad but true. Sorry, but you can always just get an Asus, EVGA or Gigabyte card. They are all really good brands.

yeah i'll probaly give it a month then if not ill just get i evga card

I would just get a different card. No sense in waiting. The 980 is not a particularly hot running card and any other cooler will work well. Hell, even the blower card performs the same as many aftermarket cooling solutions.

No, I agree with @tiny voices, you're better off just getting a card from another vendor. As I said earlier, EVGA and Gigabyte cards are also pretty nice and I prefer EVGA over Asus when I comes to nVidia. And if you still really wan't the Asus cards then the only option is to wait.

yeah i guess your right i kinda wanted the factory over clock but i guess i could do a little myself

EVGA Superclock(A.K.A. SC) has a good factory overclock,

yeah i looked at some reviews of the evga 980 sc card at a good load it runs at 75-78c which isnt crazy but not great either
