Hello all, if I ordered a SATA3 SSD but my motherboard has SATA2. What cables will I need? I see there are both sata and sata 2.0 cables and I am a little confused. And I guess the power cable should be a simple sata cable right?

All modern SATA cable are basically the same. If you don't already have one left over from your MB, just pick up one at Newegg, Amazon, or even locally. That's all you'll need as long as your PSU has a free SATA power connector.

SATA is a backward compatible interface, so your SATA 3 drive will work fine at SATA 2 speeds.

Then if you are installing Win7 clean onto the SSD, here is a good guide to follow to be sure your SSD is set up for the best performance, won't be wasting space, and won't write itself to an early death. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148544
