Strictly speaking, the answer is no, the router attaches to the modem with an Ethernet cable, CAT 5e. There are some gateway devices that combine a modem and router into one device, and they attach via coax cable.

Phone cable would only be if DSL. Who is your ISP and what is the router?

If you have cable for internet service you need a modem that converts coax to ethernet.
If you have DLS for internet you need a modem that converts phone to ethernet.

As stated there are "grey" devices that are a modem and router together. Cable usually leases you a modem and you provide your own router, while DSL will usually lease you a modem/router combo.

Thus what you need completley depends on what your ISP is and what technology they use (DSL, Cable, Fiber, etc), and what equipment you already have.

I am in the US, but from the Telus site, they look to be a cable provider. That would mean that the coaxial cable gets plugged into the modem they provided you with.
