Hello all. I am looking into getting the parts for a pretty good enthusiast rig and putting it together myself. I already have the case and the PSU; which is an OCZ ZX 850W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power supply. Although the case's website says it can fit an E-ATX, I have heard of some cases where it did not fit an E-ATX mobo fully. I was wondering if this mobo will fit fully in the case without any problems? If so I would also like to know if the MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V will fit into the case as well without taking out the HDD cage? It's not a big deal if it can't fit with the cage in, but I still would like to know. Last but not least if there are no problems fitting any of the components in I have said above I would like to know a suitable CPU Liquid-Cooler and heat-reducing solutions that would work with everything. If you need any reference to the build there will be a link from PCPartPicker with my entire build specs so far linked below.

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($364.98 @ Newegg Canada)
CPU Cooler: Swiftech H220-X 55.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($154.99 @ NCIX)
Motherboard: MSI Z97-GD65 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($188.98 @ Newegg Canada)
Memory: Mushkin Redline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory ($113.48 @ Newegg Canada)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($138.95 @ DirectCanada)
Storage: Seagate 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive ($108.98 @ DirectCanada)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($409.99 @ Memory Express)
Video Card...
Card Length is here: 279 x 140 x 36 (about 11")

What fits is here: Maximum GPU Length = 452 mm w/ cages removed (cages take up like 125 mm)
http://www.corsair.com/en-us/carbide-series-500r-white-mid-tower-case

I know I have done 10.5" cards in the 500R .... but you shud clear easy. read some reviews, I'm sure they note the distance.

Swiftech H220X is the only AIO I would recommend.

As for the build....

1. I'd dump the X99 platform and get a 2nd MSI 970 ....forget that ... looking at your budget .... get two 980s. The X99 ony gets attractive w/ 3 or more GFX cards, otherwise you looking at single digit performance increase ... those GFX cards will double ya performance

2. Use 16 GB DDR3-2400 .... the price premium on faster is very difficult to justify. Mushkin has the ebst timings but sells out right away whenever they get in stock ... I paid $189

3. Lose the slow 5400 rpm HDs and get two of the drives in 1st place here
http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/hdd-charts-2013/-17-PCMark-7-Gaming,2915.html

4. I'd want better than the OCZ PSU but ya bought already

5. 27" not advisable for 1920 x 1080 monitor. Pixels per inch is down at 83.8 where most peeps can see individual pixels....largest I'd get is 24" at 1920..... aim for 96 ppi.

6. With all the money you saved not going X99, you could afford this .... best gaming monitor made today and 2560 x 1440 at 144 Hz w/ Gsync .... if ya don't wanna go that high grab the 24" 144 Hz model

7. s much as I love the 500R, the Enthoo Pro and Enthoo Luxe are better cases.

Thanks for your answers, but I do have some more questions if you don't mind. I am 16 and because I don't have a credit card and can't get one I can only buy from my local computer store; MemoryExpress. I can special order in any parts that aren't in stock at my store (Edmonton) but that is the limit for where I can buy from; there isn't really anywhere else good for computer parts in my area. If I do dump the X99 mobo what would be a good mobo to replace it with?? I personally like MSI but I wouldn't diss other brands. I don't really have a budget per say, I want to get a good rig together that can game very well and can let me record and run GPU intensive applications like Adobes line of graphics programs and will stay great for at least 5-8 years performance wise, I know its inevitable that I will need to upgrade but I would rather have it be awhile before I need to do so. The 2.5' HDD's are from an old laptop and have been reformatted, I might get some better HDD's but for when I first purchase I think I'll stick with those and maybe a good-sized SSD. I think I am going to get the 24" model, the other is a little to much for me I think.

Saved ya $200 and pretty much upgraded everything .... those 970s scale incredibly and overclock to 1500 MHz boost clock.
