I have an Asus a6 AMD laptop.... It says error every time I try to connect to the Wi-Fi, one of the other options is Broadband connection WAN miniport (PPPOE)...and I tried to add my own Wi-Fi with its name and password and it still says error, but the network I added also says WAN miniport etc.... What does that mean lol I am very bad at computers

First of all, make sure that laptop has wireless drivers installed. If yes, then confirm that the network settings on wifi router and your laptop are same.
