Hello everyone. I'm from India and wish to buy a new pc capable of 1080p gaming at med-high settings in games like Assassin's Creed, Watch Dogs, Tomb Raider, Far Cry 3, GTA V etc. I'll be mostly playing single player games without any multiplayer or networking involved.

Now after searching for almost 2 days through google, these forums and other sites to find available parts nearby, I've come up with two possible builds which are within my budget of 660$ (INR 40,000). Do note that these parts are costlier in my country than the price available on newegg or amazon so my build may seem costly but these are the lowest prices I could get.

1st Build : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rsfTFT

Processor : AMD FX-6300
Motherboard : Gigabyte micro ATX 78-MLT
Memory : 2 x Corsair 4 GB DDR3-1600 Mhz
Storage : AData Premier Pro 64 GB SSD, 1 TB WD External HDD
GPU : MSI Nvidia GTX 750Ti
PSU : Corsair CX600M semi-modular

Now so far, this is my target build since I think it offers the most bang for buck and I don't plan to update this before 2 years or so. The problem is I can't find a suitable mini-itx case for it. I was hoping to use the Cooler master Elite 110 but PCPartPicker listed it as incompatible with the GPU. Another problem is that I wish to install a wifi card in my build as well, but don't want to go for USB adapter. Is it possible to install a mini-pcie or pcie wifi card in this build?

My 2nd Build : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Vxdh23
Processor : Intel i3 4130
Motherboard : Asrock B85M-ITX
Case : Cooler Master Elite 110
Memory : 2x Corsair 4GB DDR3-1600Mhz
Storage : AData Premier Pro 64 GB SSD, 1 TB WD External HDD
GPU : Zotac Nvidia GTX 750Ti
PSU : Corsair CX600M semi-modular

This build is almost ready since all the parts are compatible according to PCPartPicker. But from various forums including this one, I've read that Fx-6300 is much better than i3-4130 so I changed to the above build. Also this build faces the same problem as above regarding wifi. I have no clue whether I can install a mini-pcie or pcie wifi card in this build.

So can you all please help me make the right choice? This is the first time I'm assembling a PC myself so a bit confused. Thanks!

Get a smaller psu, a decent 400+ watt psu will be more than enough. Use that money to get a bigger ssd where possible.

@SpentShells
I've decided to change the PSU and used the money in this motherboard and wifi adapter. I haven't upgraded the SSD since it gets too costly and I have a spare 1 TB External HDD already. Thanks for your help!

@ EasyLover
That build is too costly and big in size. I'm trying to build a mini-ITX pc here. Thanks for your help!

Now I've edited my intial build to this : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Rt2sMp

Processor : i3-4130
Motherboard : MSI H81I
Case : Cooler Master Elite 120
RAM : 2x Corsair 4GB DDR3-1600
Storage : AData Premier Pro 64GB SSD
GPU : Zotac Nvidia GTX 750Ti
PSU : Corsair CX430M
WIFI Adapter : TP-Link TL-WN722N

The choices I have made are because of availability and lowest prices. If anyone of you could list the dis-advantages of using a certain part, please do.

Total cost of my proposed build is Rs.41,723. By just changing the CPU the revised cost comes to Rs.37,472/- You may consider it.

64GB won't do job here for data. It will only contain OS. You would still need regular HDD to store your data on it. Rest of the items are good. Why buying two separate RAMs? Better buy a kit of 2x4GB RAMs to better ensure the compatibility being offered by the manufacturer.

Where are you buying these items from India?

Here is another option in AMD here for you:

CPU

Mobo

RAM x2

GPU

HDD (You can buy SSD at any time later on)

PSU

PC Case

All this will cost you Rs.39,699/-

Happy Hunting!

@EasyLover
Thanks for the suggestions! I really appreciate it since it helped me rethink a lot of the components. Now again I've come up with two configurations.

Configuration 1 : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/XmwWmG
Configuration 2 : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/yk2PvK

Both the configuration differ in the CPU+GPU combination. Configuration 1 uses an Intel i3-4130 with GTX 760 while Configuration 2 uses Intel i5-4440 with R9 270. All the remaining parts are the same.

RAM : Transcend JetRam 8GB 1600Mhz

Case : Intex IT-216

PSU : Corsair VS 550

Mobo : Gigabyte H81M-DS2

Let me know what you think.

i3 won't handle the 760 the way i5 would. I would love to see 760 with i5 and 270 with i3 here. This is an expensive RAM you are buying. Consider less expensive. Items in Asian region are quite expensive when compare to US markets. Better keep that in mind. This was why I posted the possible builds from Flipkart.

@Easy Lover

Well I've changed the build again. I'm now going for 4 GB RAM and using that price for i5 4440. RAM is just too expensive these days, I'll upgrade it later when it is cheap again.

Good idea. This was on my mind but did not post as I knew it would be opposed at large. Good luck with new build. Glad to assist.
