I have a PC which has saves video files from some surveillance Wifi cameras.
I want to lock that PC, but Is it possible for it to still keep showing the camera views ?
Just so that people do not modify the settings or anything on that PC and yet on the screen we can see that all the cameras are still connected and recording.

Rhlsg,

You can accomplish what you’re trying to do in Windows 7 by creating a steady state environment. In order to figure out how to configure your computer to meet your needs, take a look at Creating a Steady State by Using Microsoft Technologies and Group Policy Settings for Creating a Steady State.

Another option that you might consider is Windows 8.1. It comes with a feature that lets you lock down the computer so that a user can only use one application – Kiosk Mode. This would allow you to keep your camera views up without anyone being able to do anything else.

Otherwise, there is third party software available to help you accomplish what you're trying to do.

Hope this helps!
