I built my system nearly a year ago and I was casually playing a few games last night, decided to load up a non intensive game and suddenly the PC shut down and the motherboard Q code just says 00. When I try to boot it the screen is just black and wont even go to UEFI.

My specs are
Asus Maximus VI Hero
i7 4770K (No OC)
Corsair AX860i
Gigabyte Windforce 780 ti OC
Samsung Evo 840 120GB
Seagate Barracuda 3TB
Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x8GB 1600MHz

I've tried
1: Clearing the CMOS using the jumper.
2: Taking out my PSU and testing it.
3: Making sure all power cables are fine.
4: Flashing BIOS to the latest.
5: Flashing BIOS to older.
6: Checked the CPU and pins and they seem fine.
7: Reseated the CPU with fresh paste.
8: Reseating the RAM.

I however haven't tried
1: Reseating the GPU although that's probably not the problem.
2: Taking the battery out and putting it back.

I've also noticed that when I press MEMOK on the motherboard it doesn't seem to do anything as well as my keyboard and mouse just not seeming to light up. I'm not sure if this is a CPU or Motherboard issues and unfortunately I don't have another compatible PC to test them with.

Any help would be nice.

Try only cpu and MB without other hardware, and boot it, also at the same time to check the cpu LED light, does it flash? or not on? If you can boot w/o other hardware, and get the error code, means other hardware have problem. But if it doesn't flash at all, the cpu maybe gone, you have to use other cpu or MB to test, so 1) borrow one from your friend or buy the cheap one. 2) Go to local shop.

I've tried only CPU and motherboard just together with nothing else, no RAM, no GPU, nothing else but the power plugged in and the stock cooler and it still comes up with q code 00, the only LED's that are on are the start, reset and q code and nothing flashing. Unfortunately I don't know anyone with a Z87 or Z97 motherboard so I might have to go to the local pc specialists to get it tested.

Took my pc to a shop today and got a call saying the motherboard died but everything else is fine, so I'm getting a replacement fitted into my pc since I need it ASAP while I RMA my motherboard.
