Would like to hear if any body is having good results with the on board corsair link
esp. if they have hooked their PSU to it.

case: node804 M/B: MSI Z87M GAMING CPU: 4690K PSU: corsair RM550 GPU: MSI R9 270

I've had it work on Z77 and Z87 motherboards but on some X79 workstation motherboards, I was having blue screen issues when the corsair link software was installed. Removing the link software and using the AI suite to control the fans fixed the issue.

Would not go beyong the H80i in liquid cooling.

It is my understanding the H100i performs slightly better esp. at lower RPM. If I have the space and extra $10 should I not favour the H100i?

If corsair link works well enough and I can hook my RM 550 PSU to it, It will give the H100i great value to me. If there are many issues and hours problem solving then I will go with the H60 or H75. These smaller cheaper AIOs will go into a media PC (along with the R9 270) when my budget and time allow for a custom loop.

Pushed my internet searching a bit more and looks like (not 100% sure still) I will need to buy the extra digital bridge cable before I connect my RM550 PSU into a H100i.
Being able to monitor everything would have been nice but it is turning into a hassle. Not sure I like all those
cables in the way as well.
Now I need to flip a coin between H60 and H75.

Thanks for the replies

Have you considered the H105 at all? The simplicity of the regular PWM fans and tons of cooling capacity while staying very quiet.

Yeah the bigger aio coolers other than the H100i were a bit off my radar. I went back and had another look at the H105 and looks to me worth the extra money over the H75 and H60.
