microsoft teredo tunneling adapter

Im trying to install the teredo tunneling adapter for windows 8,By using the hardware legacy mode so when it comes to the installation of it an error pops up saying that the data is invalid can't install. Don't know what to do.Any help thanks.

There are a couple of possible fixes that come to mind for your issue. First, check your local services to see what the System Events Broker is set for. You can access the services by moving your mouse cursor up from the lower right corner of your screen and selecting Search. Type in Services and then select View local services. If it is set to Manual, change that to Automatic. You’ll need to reboot for that to take effect.

If the above solution doesn't work, the next thing you could take a look at is your registry. Access the registry by moving your mouse cursor up from the lower right corner of your screen and selecting Search. Type in Regedit and then select it. Navigate to...

Navigate to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DeviceInstall\Parameters\DeviceInstallDisabled and if it’s set to 1, delete the setting and restart your computer to see if that solves the issue.
