So i bought a arctic f12 120mm fan and on the box it says noise level is 0.3 sone but it makes a loud noise, is it possible that it makes a loud noise because it blows air straight on my gpu what has 2 fans (facing the fan) or i just got bought a faulty fan?

well i took it out of the case and held it, it was pretty quiet then, turns out my case has a bad design for top fans, there are little holes on top and the area is lifted up a bit so the holes make some weird noise. if you want to know then i got a bitfenix outlaw case
