New build operating system

I am building a brand new computer so it currently has no operating system on it. I am trying to figure out if I install either one of these disc will work considering there is no previous operating system on the computer.

The second link is not working. The first link states you're required to have Windows 7 previously installed. Since you have no OS installed, it won't work.

yeah 2nd link isn't working.

I'd get windows 8.1 retail, even though it's still $80 or more, it gives you more flexibility and you don't have to deal with all the upgrades like that student one requires.

student versions normally have you prove that your a student. unless there is some reason you need to be on a domain network you don't need the pro version. Window 8.1 oem is $100 at newegg, you might be able to find it a little cheaper but that about the going price.
