Hi there,
I want to build a gaming pc for 600 pounds max, but i don't know what parts to use or where to buy them. My good friend recommended this forum to me. Thanks for help

Solution
Both AMD R9 280 and NVIDIA GTX970 are the best bang for your buck.
A £150 R9 280 is really good for 1080p gaming. A £260 GTX 970 is even better.

Go prit87 build if you already have Win7 64 or Win8 64.
My suggested build will be at your price range if you need a OS too.
Here mate. Excellent gaming performance at 1080p.

If you think the price is high then just wait for October the gtx 960 is going to release in mid oct and it will be perform closely like r9 290 or November the r9 300 series is going to release then.
But if you can afford the gtx 970 then definitely go for it its better than gtx 780 and r9 290 in performance.

Thanks for such a quick answer, this forum is amazing :). I just have one question, do you guys think that 1TB will be enough, because I was thinking about getting 2TB. Besides that, I really want to thank both of you.

No one can answer how much space will be sufficient for you. I have 8.5 TB and I am over 90% full while some people with 500gb can't fill up the disk.
Unless you shoot hd video and store lots of uncompressed video then I think 1 TB should last you for a while, you can always add more space if you feel that you are running low.
I don't think 970 will drop in price anytime soon, its already listed very low, the expected MSRP for 970 was $400. I would highly suggest you get 970 as its a superior card from r9 290 in everyway. (More Performance, Less Power consumption, Less heat, DX12 support etc)

Get the HDD according to your need its for your personal use so you can choose whatever you like.

There is a price difference between between the r9 280 and gtx 970 but the difference is valid one the gtx 970 is similar to r9 290x which is 100 pound more costlier than the gtx 970.

The gtx 960 is assumed to priced between 220 - 270 $ so its will be around 150 pound in England at least i hope so based on the 50 pound price difference of gtx 970.
