Bought a new 500Gb SSD 840EVO msata to upgrade existing 128Gb.
Am I doing something wrong or I have a problem? This is what I tried many times:
1. I have a recovery USB(just in case I made another one) with copied Recovery partition. When I replace old SSD with OS-W8.1 with a brand new one out of the box and boot it with recovery drive I get 2 options(troubleshot and turn off).
Under troubleshot-Refresh,reset and advanced.
Under advanced-Sys restore,System image recovery,Startup repair,com.prompt and EUFIfirmware settings.
I cant find access to recovery partition on USB drive. Maybe thats how is suppose to be?

2. Then I have created System image including FI system partition,C:System and Windows recovery Environment(System)- on External HD.

3. Tried to Re-image my out of the box, new drive after I booted from the above recovery USB drive. Found the image, selected Re-Image your computer & Format and repartition disk, all good. Re-Imaging started but stopped after 10, 15 seconds with:
"An error occurred while performing the recovery operation.Details:
No disk that can be used for recovering the system disk can be found...."

4. Tried to follow this instructions here (http://uselesspuzzles.blogspot.com.au/2012/07/how-to-up...) and created the drive with Clonezilla but there was no way my notebook would boot from this USB drive(tried 3 different, after I read Sandisk could be confusing, USB3 could be a problem... no boot).

Heeelp please! What am I doing wrong?
