So, a few weeks ago I was playing games and my computer randomly shut down. A minute after that, I powered it on again which led to a fire inside the computer. The motherboard was burnt, so I replaced it with the same one. CPU seemed to be fine, but I reapplied thermal paste on it. I had the Corsair TX750W PSU, and every time I had the 4 pin CPU connector plug, it prevented it from turning on. So just yesterday, I bought a new PSU (Thermaltake 55W) I rebuilt the computer and it powered. But still no signal. But then I tried my old PSU (Corsair TX750W) and it worked as well. My motherboard is new, so is my PSU, I applied thermal paste. I don't understand why it's not booting. I am able to power the PC on with the power button and i'm able to power it off with the power button. But I still don't know why it's not booting. I have the AMD FX 8350 for my CPU. I am thinking my CPU is faulty (as rare as it is). I built the PC 1 year ago, and now it's not booting. Everything powers on, but no display. (ONBOARD GFX NOT GIVING DISPLAY, NEITHER IS THE GFX CARD (EVGA GTX 760)

PLS HELP ME!!!!

Really, with that situation, just about any component from your old system could have been ruined. But since it's a display issue, the first thing I'd test is the GPU. Take it out and try it in another machine. And while it's out, test the onboard video with the card removed. It could be that the GPU was fried and is therefore giving no display, but since the machine detects a graphics card in the slot, it turns off the onboard video by default.

It's true that the CPU could've been damaged also. But you'll often get an error beep code when you try to power on if that's the case. So in the absence of that, start with the GPU.

edit: from the sound of it, I also would not try using the old power supply anymore if you've got a new one...

try test the GPU 1st. it is never a good thing when something is burnt in the case. It could also be the CPU, but cpu normally doesn't burn unless overheat in the thermal. In your case, there is a chance that CPU is faulty, but it sounds like your PC boot without graphics. GPU is most likely the cause, sorry if it is, it is also the most expensive part of your build.
