Hello, It is very unlike myself to turn to an internet forum and post for help but I suppose I'm desperate. For about a month now I've been having issues with realtek's hd audio drivers. The pc keeps switching to the built in speakers of my asus monitor instead of using the rear speakers. When this happens it seems that AMD's audio driver takes over and realtek hd audio manager disappears completely from my control panel. Restarting the computer occasionally results in the speakers being detected again but not always. When realtek disappears both my rear speakers and headphones fail to be recognized and hdmi audio is used. If I disable AMD audio drivers then I simple get an x next to the little speaker image and windows tells me to re-enable AMD audio drivers. This has got me at my wits end. I've messed with drivers for hours, flashed my mobo and even done a system restore to about two months prior to the origin of this issue. I would really like to invest in some quality speakers soon but it seems like a tremendous waste of money with this issue unresolved. Any advice or solutions would be greatly greatly appreciated. I know very similar issues exist and have been resolved on this cite but nothing seems to resolve my issue. I apologize for redundancy but this is rock bottom in terms of my patience with this issue.
