Hello!

I have a corsiar 400r computer case. It has 2 240mm fans on the top, the 140mm(?) stock fan in the exhaust, and the two silent stock fans in the front 120mm. I have room for 3 more fans, one on the bottom, and 2 on the side. I know fans can be pretty expensive, but I would like to know if buying them would be worth it in a gaming perspective. I am currently running a oc'd watercooled 4930k, which throws off a lot of heat. I also have 2 EVGA 770s which are heat monsters. I would like to know if buying more fans will make my P.C. cooler, or if it is just a waste of money.

Thanks!

Pretty simply, if you are still getting good temps, then you don't need any extra fans right now.

There's certainly a limit as to how much return you can get. As NBSN mentioned above, check that the temps for your CPU, GFX card and case/system are acceptable at idle and under load. Make sure the inside of the case is as clutter free as possible so that air flow is optimal. Regularly clean the case, fans, filters. Check Google to see how your temps and overclock compares - if you're close to the average mark under similar circumstances then there's probably not much more to do.

Sounds like your computer has enough fans.
