how do i bring my canon mx452 printer back on line

When I attempt to send a document to my Canon MX452 I receive a message stating my printer is not on line. How do I fix this issue?

I would go to Services (type Services in start menu search bar) and make sure Print Spooler is listed as "Started" and is set to "Automatic"

If you go to Devices and Printers is the printer indeed showing up as being online?
