I just want to see if this PC sounds okay. I don't have info on the PSU and fan btw. I'm a little bit iffy with the GPU as well... Also, I am not using this PC for hardcore gaming either, so don't reply with part breakdowns and component recommendations. Simply just say if it's good or not.

CPU: Intel Core i5 4460-S @ 2.90 GHz (3.40 with TurboBoost)
GPU: nVidia GeForce GT 705
RAM: 8GB DDR3
HDD: 2TB 7200rpm
Mobo: Intel Z87

Solution
Going to depend on what you do intend to use it for. Basic web browsing/video watching/office work, it should be just fine. Anything more than that may have issues.

Yeah, I'm only using it for browsing the web and to do my work. I might do some light gaming here amd there, but I'll have to reduce the graphical settings, I know.

Thanks. Btw, even though the CPU is quad-core, will it still be quite slow because of the frequency? It is only 2.90 GHz

Thanks my friend. And one last thing, TurboBoost is available on the CPU. Do you have to manually enable it or does it enable automatically?

Source: Intel® Turbo Boost Technology frequently asked questions

Intel® Turbo Boost Technology is a way to automatically run the processor core faster than the noted frequency. The processor must be working in the power, temperature, and specification limits of the thermal design power (TDP). This results in increased performance of both single and multi-threaded applications

Based on that, I'd say it's automatic.
