Hi Guys,

I built my first rig in January which I love (z87 chipset), but I think I overdid it with the case and would like a much smaller ,more space efficient rig. I would like to switch from my full tower case with ATX motherboard (MSI GD65 Gaming), to a BitFenix Prodigy with a Mini ITX motherboard (looking like the ASUS Z87I Deluxe as it has reviewed well).

Anyway, I wanted to know what changes software wise? Do I just need to uninstall and replace the MSI drivers with ASUS ones? Is there any other part of this process that I'm overlooking or not considering? I don't need to reinstall windows or re-format my hard drives do I? It seems logical in my Noob mind that those things would just stay intact and once all the hardware is transferred in to the new rig I could just start my computer and it would work like nothing changed. Am I an idiot?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but some insight would be much appreciated...

Thanks in advance!!
