So I'm going to get a new PC soon but now I saw the Asus GTX 780 is for 399.99 CAD , isn't that worth it? I'm buying my parts separately because I can save more money like this when they are on sale (im not cheap :( just trying to save money.) IS IT WORTH IT, EVEN IF THE NEW GTX has released?

The GTX 970 is a replacement for GTX 780. The same for GTX 980 and 780ti.
New 900 series offers better performance in most of the benchmarks.

If you wanted originaly 780 then go for 970.
I recommend MSI or Gigabyte gtx 970 and also maybe Asus.

I would get the GTX 970 if I was you. The 970 is only £259.99(reference) and in alot of benchmarks comes just behind the 780 ti and above the 780.

Also the 970 uses alot less power (alot of room for overclocking to outperform 780ti and possibly the 980), and has newer technology and features including Multi-frame AA and DSR.

This link is a review of the card with benchmars, check it out http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-nvidia-geforce-gtx-970-review

I would wait I think prices will come down more or you could consider the GTX 970 which replaces the GTX 770.

price of what to come down, the 970 is better then the 780. The 780 ti is the only better at stock levels, which the 970 can be overclocked to out perform it, and the 780 ti is currently around £460, that card will drop in price but not enough to even compare to the £260 that the 970 is.
