Question about FX 8320 & FX 8320E

Let say i overclocked both CPU's to 4ghz with the same Vcore. Since the FX 8320E is 95W TDP will it still produce less heat and use's less power than the FX 8320 125W TDP?

The only difference its that the 8320E needs less power but the frequency its lower but the 8320 its the opposite from the other. In my opinion the 8320 its better if your for a little more performance but if your concern of the power you will need or you will waste go with the 8320E.

When you overclock the 8320E it will still produce less heat and need lower power but with the 8320 overclock will incrise the power needed and also the heat the only real diference its that the 8320 will be faster and the 8320E will be cooler. There's no real other answer i can give! Ps hope you'll get it soon

I think the 8320E will use a bit less power than an 8320 when both are clocked at 4ghz. That 95w TDP is from the lower core clock and slightly improved chip in general.

What liereaper is listing is incorrect. TDP changes when it is overclocked as it needs more energy thus outputting more watts of heat. Base TDP in this case means nothing.

Yes, but by a very small amount, the 8320E is just a general newer and better "optimized" chip on the same piledriver architecture with lower clock speeds. Its not worth the price difference between the 8320E and 8320, get the 8320.

Read the original post, both chips are overclocked at 4ghz in this scenario, THEY ARE NOT running at stock clocks.
