In the near future I am looking to upgrade my GPU to one of the new 970 overclocked cards.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
This is the one I am currently looking at.

Current Specs
GeForce GTX 650 ti Windforce OC 2Gb
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
i5-3570k (currently not overclocked)
2 x 4 GB RAM
some $50 1 TB hard drive
CD drive of-course
Corsair 600w PSU, I think its bronze

All those power calculators out there don't really give a good estimate, I was wondering if you guys could give me a good rule of thumb on whether or not I would have to upgrade my PSU along with my GPU

More about : psu good

Your psu is more than good enough, for the GTX 970, they recommended is 500w, if you plan to sli in the future you should get a 650-750w so you dont have to switch later and that should also leave room for overclocking
