So as you can see in the title, i used to have a AMD 7870 from MSI and now have dual gtx 770's, all three cards only have 2 gb vram. Now that the 980 is out I hope to buy two around Thanksgiving, but I might sell all three cards before that to get the most money possible. Can anybody tell me how much I could get out of them on say, ebay. I was thinking maybe $325 for each 770 and maybe $150- $175 for the 7870. What do you guys think? By the way all cards are obviously used but work perfectly and have never given me major issues. Thanks in advance for the help.

If the 970's are selling for $329 NEW, then your 770's USED will be not be selling at the same price.

I dont think your going to be able to get 325 for the 770s now. Considering I can buy a 970 for the same price new and the performance/power efficiency is better.

Just checked eBay... they're selling for $200 or less.

this is true, soooooo anybody know what would be a decent and sizable upgrade from the dual 770's, one gtx 780ti, dual gtx 970's, or one gtx 980? Cause it seems ill get maybe $600 for all three cards that I have if im lucky.

thanks guys, so yeah it seems I'll have to wait for another 980, ill just buy one around Cyber Monday. Maybe this is good cause I can get a feel for how powerful one 980 is and wait for more support for the new series of cards, especially more sli profiles. Thanks again everyone. :)

yes but not only is it a single card which means better optimization, but once I sli them there is a possibility of almost a 35% increase in performance, if you disregard the combined vram analytics. Plus the amount of new features and energy efficiency should keep me happy for a couple years.
