internet conection switch on laptop

I have an acer 3680 laptop that anytime it turns off and back on needs to activate the internet switch. is that normal? if not, what coulb be the problem?
it uses windows 7 Home premum.

I have one laptop, an Acer, that each time it is booted needs to have the WiFi separately activated. Just depends on how the manufacturer set it up.

I'm not familiar with your Acer laptop, but you might try looking in the BIOS to see if there is a setting for auto enable of wireless on startup.
