Question about CPU combatibility

I have a quick question about my cpu, it says that it runs on a AM2+ Socket but I want to get the Amd Phenom II X4 975 and it says it runs on a AM3 Socket, Will this be compatible?

It depends on the motherboard and the BIOS version you are using. Please state your MB make/model and BIOS version in use.

The mother board model is a Pegatron M2N68-LA (Narra5) but I am unsure of the BIOS version.
