I just rebuilt my gaming computer. Everything works fine in windows. When I run Planetside 2, or crisis or Heaven Benchmark my PC shuts off completely. I was able to run diablo 3 and it didn't shut off. I think that my CPU is incompatible with my mobo ( not enough wattage delivery), but I dunno if that's causing the problem. I have turned off the overclocks on gpu and cpu and still getting the problem. CPU runs at 40 C.

My specs are below...

msi 970-g46 mobo
FX 9370
GTX 770
Corsair HX 850 watt power supply
seidon 240mm liquid cooler on cpu
full tower case with plenty of fans

If you mean msi 970a-g46. It does not list support for the cpu on the website.

You could try to underclock to reduce power consumption.

Also ensure you have air flow over the VRM area to cool it down.

The G46 is definitely not up to the load .
