Okay, so this is now my second try. I'm trying to buy more ram for my PC.
This is my pc: http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/specs-018d1y-mainboard-dell/

This is the product I purchased: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233678

After installing the ram new ram my PC begins to beep. The specs look correct.. I don't understand why it would be beeping :(

Could my power supply be an issue?

No, PSU isn't it ... sounds like the two RAM kits are not getting along

1. Take out the new RAM ... go into BIOS and write down specs.....speed / timings
2. Make sure what ya bought matches.
3. Go into BIOS and set all RAM settings to same as that in step 1 (unless of course new stuff is slow)

If that fails start bumping up DRAM voltage

try to grab a canister of compressed air and blow it not so close from the pcie slot. Should be working, if not make sure that the ram stick is place right.

They don't say on their site, but believe these sticks use the higher density Memory ICs and aren't compatible with the older gen mobos
