I'm new to Bluetooth; have never used it but I bought this thing called a Kube that I would like to use and it would be easiest to have it connect to my Win 7 PC. I searched for Bluetooth and I have this thing that says it's a Bluetooth connection assistant. It wants me to select a file. I have 3 choices that apparently were there from the install of the PC. None of them do anything though.

I've watched videos and things about how to connect Bluetooth but my computer doesn't show any of the same wording. Bluetooth doesn't show up at all under add a device options or anything.

I've read something about adapters and being able to discover new devices, etc, but nothing I do seems to pop up those options.

The Kube is turned on when I'm doing this, connected to my PC, and I've done what it tells me to do which is to press its Bluetooth button for 3 seconds and release. It gives me the signal it should, but again, nothing registers or shows up on my PC.

Any suggestions?

I don't really understand how this works. You're saying I have to buy another device to get the bluetooth Kube to connect to my PC, right? What will I end up doing? I'm not getting how this all connects. My PC will be in the House. The Kube will be on the patio (it's a close range). How does the adapter fit in?

Bluetooth is a wireless connectivity method - you need two devices to be paired - one will be your PC - the other the Kube. If your PC doesn't have a bluetooth adapter now (most do not), you will need to purchase one so your PC can connect to the Kube.
