I own an ASUS 7770 2gb and an AMD A4-6300. I get reallllyyy bad frame rates in most games I play unfortunaetly and my guess why is because the worker at Fry's may have plugged in the video cord into the APU instead of my GPU. Is there a way to make sure that he plugged it into the GPU? Also, how do I turn on/off the APU's integrated graphics?

More about : gpu installed correctly

An apu is embedded in the same cpu chip. There is no way for a miss connection, but one thing you can try is to download the latest drivers and also go into my computer and system properties to see what gpu's come in windows. You can do this buy going to my computer-->system properties which should be in the upper toolbar. hope this helps

As long as the video cable is connected to your card and not to the motherboard, you will be running games with the graphics card. Also, make sure to update your video drivers to the latest.
