So my computer sucks... a lot just a 500 dollar computer I bought last year. But I want to build my next computer and currently have 850 saved up and putting away 40 bucks a week to save up. For a bad ass gaming computer that wont have a problem running games in the future like gta 5 on high settings (even thoigh the requirements arent released yet just a guesstimate) how much am I looking at spending. Ill need everything new besides a keyboard mouse and monitor

I built mine for $800, and feel free to use my build if you like. I can run League of Legends on very high for 60 fps, same with Just Cause 2. But who knows. My monitor's refresh rate is 60hz, so it can't get better than that as of now. If you want to buy a monitor, it may be more than that, because I already have one at my house. One suggestion is to use PCPartPicker to help you check for compatibility issues, as well as places that have rebates on that item. I have my build on my profile if you want to take a look. :)

I think your goal should be to design a build with a gtx 970 and an i5 (probably an i5 4690k). That is about 550 for both of those components.

That is fine and all, but if you want to keep the money down a little, get an i5 4670 and a Radeon R9 270X, because I have that, they're cheap and work well together. They can run most games unless you are playing crazy intensive games on your computer.

He said he wants to run gta v on high. Not necessarily saying the 270x wont be able to do it, but the 970 is a much better bet.
