Hi I have a Dell Inspiron 530 which has 2 PCI slots, one pcie x16, and x1 slot
I have 2 AMD Radeon HD 5450's
One is a xfx core edition (1gb gddr3), and the second is msi R5450, which i will plug in using a usb 3.0 pcie x1 to x16 adapter
So i was wondering if i can run both cards together, on one display just for light gaming, mainly streaming. I am not looking towards buying a new gpu, just want a straightforward answer if i can run both pcie x16 and x1 gpus together on one monitor for gaming and streaming, with those two cards.

My specs are:
Dell inspiron 530
600W power supply
4gb ddr2 ram
1.8 ghz dual core processor
One pcie x1 slot and one x16 slot
Xfx amd radeon hd 5450 1gb gddr3 (x16)
Msi r5450 md1gh (x1 using x1-x16 usb 3.0 adapter)
I would like a straightforward answer if the two cards will work together on one display

Solution
Well, it's possible. Just make sure none of those GPUs have any problems (technical). And then any AMD Crossfire-able cards can be Crossfired.

Yeah it would work. You might need a crossfire bridge.
I'm guessing your on a really tight budget and going any higher on graphics is not an option, in which case the second 5450 may make some other games that were not playable before playable now.

Thanks.
But its not that I'm on a tight budget it's just that I had the msi lying around, that I replaced since it wasn't bringing me much HD, and XFX did. So I was wondering if I could combine them.

Thanks I havent tried it yet but is the power supply a problem or possibly lower than required?
