hi....i am kind of a new computer builder....was just asking about a new rig..
first of all i am centring the whole build about the gpu gtx-760...this is the must in my build any thing else is up for discussion if any better.....i am kind of torn between -for the cpu-between intel core i5 4430 and the amd fx 8350....if i could afford a better intel i5 the choice would have been obvious for me...but my budget is kind of tight and i heard good things about the amd 8350....my dilemma is someone told me that thx gtx won't be as much compatibale with the amd as it would be for intel and it is better to go i5 with the gtx...need confirmation on that if you may.
and is the i5 4430 any good for heavy gaming since there is a lot of better gaming processors as the 3570k and the 4670k but again they r quiet pricy for my budget.
going again for the main question...if i do go with the i5 4430...is the ga-p85 d3 motherboard a good one? since it is quiet cheap and affordable...or should i think of upgrading to a better one..and if so does it support sli?i know it has 2 gpu ports,,,but i read some threads that it won't sustain 2 gpu that strongly...i want to leave the door open for future upgrade and probally sli

sorry for the long post...but couldn't explain my thoughts briefly :) .
i live in egypt so couldn't type prices or explain my build in detail
thanks very much in advance.

There's no truth to the statement that the GTX isn't compatible with the AMD processor/MB. But the i5 is a slightly better gamer if that is your main intent. The FX-8350 may have an edge on heavily threaded apps, but that is up for discussion as well.
Here's Tom's hierarchy chart for gaming CPUs: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-o...

If you are on a budget, the Gigabyte board will be fine. And since you won't be OC'ing with the i5-4430, there's really no need to go more expensive.

Get the i5, it will allow for future upgrades if needed, the 8350 is practically the best amd has so there wont be much upgrading capabilities. The 4430 is just fine for the gtx 760 since there will probably be a minimal frame rate difference between a 4670k and a 4430. The motherboard you chose cant support sli, I recommend getting a better motherboard.

this ones a little more expensive but sup[ports sli and should last a while.

To be able to do SLI later you need a motherboard that could properly use SLI. and even then Z97 can only do crossfire/sli at x8 x8, so i would recommend this motherboard. its a little bit more but it will do SLI. i would recommend Intel over AMD, because I am personally fed up with the performance and performance per watt. Plus, single threaded performance is what you really need with gaming, because most wouldnt use the 8 cores with the 8350, and the 4430 has a better single threaded performance. i would get that motherboard, and if you could, try for the GTX-970, itll give more performance. Or i could possibly sell you my EVGA GTX 760 Superclocked w/ ACX cooler. but i was looking more for selling it local.

The mobo is OK but not real flash. You should look at a H97 mobo instead

well i found acctually that http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... is cheaper here than the p85....so if it is better as u say i might change...but my question remains does it support sli? i really want to open the door for future upgrades and not block myself...and correct me on this..i find the concept of doing and sli with another gpu is better than upgrading to a new one and throwing the old one away...that's just my opinion...but if really the double gpu would require more pricy motherboards and good cooling system etc than i might reluctantly throw the idea away.....

i am not much of an expert here...but i thought since battlefield and crysis 3 use multi threaded perfotmance that more games in future would so as well...and single threaded performance is for old games.,,so i thought why not get the amd since it is quiet cheaper than the i5...but i still find myself going for the i5 at the end..it is just a thought that occured

To the best of my knowledge, there's no gfx card available today that can even saturate the bandwidth of PCIe 2.0 @ x8 lanes... let alone PCIe 3.0.
