So I'm new to water cooling and I want to start a custom loop with my i5, r9 280x toxic, and maybe another future GPU. I'd use a dual radiator and id have to find other good parts. My questions are if there's a waterblock for my GPU. The ones I've seen for others have been over 100$. Is that how much a water block costs? What will my final price approximately be for the whole loop? And if its over 150 it doesn't seem very good for price to performance but any thoughts and tips are welcome thanks in advance!

water blocks for graphics cards don;t come cheap, and neither does the rest of the custom loop. If your going to do such a setup you need the money to put into it also.

It will be expensive for the whole loop as you have to put lots of things, Pumps, reservoirs, radiators, fans (sometimes), piping ect..

I would invest in an extreme air cooler like the Noctua NH-D15 then get a custom air GPU cooler and replace your current. That is better value and means far less hassles and maintenance.

I was just gonna ask about the kraken g10. So I have a corsair h80i and I could put that on my GPu or even get a cheaper one for that cause I like the led on my CPU :). Which would be smarter to do?

Yeah that don't seem to bad and say like an h60 would perform good for a GPU like that? And it seems like a good price for the performce and sound heat etc. Thank you both for the posts. You really cleared it all up for me thanks.
