Is the ASUS Z97-A a suitable motherboard for overclocking the i7-4790K? I'm not going far; overclocking within air-cooled ranges. Should this motherboard be stable enough? I'll be using a GTX 750 Ti (which is all I really need for now) and will be upgrading in a year or two, when I actually have time to play games "seriously."

Also, since I'm buying a wireless network adapter card anyway, is the ASUS Z97-PRO (which has WiFi) going to be better at overclocking than the Z97-A? It's quite a good deal more expensive than the A, so a separate WiFi card seemed a better choice, but if it offers other advantages as well, I want to explore it as an option.

Lastly, aside from the two I've mentioned, would any of the other pricier Asus motherboards (or cheaper, if that's possible) be better for overclocking my i7?

Other details:

Other manufacturers: If you have a very strong opinion about it, please share, but I'm pretty biased towards Asus, they've never let me down.
Crossfire: will never be using an AMD GPU, so is a non-issue
SLI: Would be nice to have this as an option in the future, but absence of support isn't a dealbreaker
Cooler Master V8 GTS: I'll be using one. It's a pretty massive cooler, so I need a motherboard that won't have important PCIe slots swallowed by it
SATAe: like SLI, would be nice to have the option, but not necessary.

BONUS POINTS FOR:
- red and black color scheme
- looking cool in general
- keeping it below $250

Minus points for:
- Blue. I really don't like blue.

Go just above the Pro for the Hero (about $190), OCs extremely well (mine in sig), great sound, runs cool, sweet BIOS, if needing wireless could pick up a USB wireless Wifi....the Pro OCs well also and is another great mobo as is the A (though doesn't OC quite as well
