Are you overclocking? I'm assuming so with your K-series processor?

I don't think I am going to overclock it right now. I might overclock in the future though.

You don't wanna install just one channel of dual channel memory. Use 2 x 4 GB

The blue is very close to being the worse drive currently available ... 63rd place outta 65

You never want a PSU with the word "Builder" in it.

You don't need 750 watts but at $50 how can you say no for a PSU with a build quality taring of 9.5 from jonnyguru

Okay, just making sure. You would NEVER need a power supply with that big of a wattage unless you are overclocking. Great job dude! If you need help with the actual building, PM me. I'll be able to help you out. You should be fine though. Any other questions?

It's dual channel RAM.... it can't work in "dual channel" if you only have 1 stick and 2, sticks are sold in "matched" pairs .... they are only guaranteed to work when bought as a pair.

As far as the GFX card goes.....the 260x is a about as fast as the 7790 ...which is 33% as fast as a 970 in the table below .... more than anything else, spend ya money on GFX card
