I'm trying to build a gaming PC and can not decide on which motherboard I want.
CPU-Intel 4790k Haswell
Graphics Card- Gigabyte Geforce GTX 980
Any suggestions on a great MoBo for this setup? I would also like 4 channels of RAM.
Thanks everyone. I'm a noob so your help is immensely appreciated!

A great MoBo for any budget is ASUS Z97-A. GigaByte Gaming 7 Z97 for a bit higher budget. ASUS M7 HERO for a still higher budget. What's the budget?

Great choices, beat me to it, and the mobos for your CPU are strictly dual channel, can of course run 4 sticks, but all remain in dual channel mode, the 2011 and 2011-V3 are the only 'true' quad channel sockets :)

In that price range one of my favorite pairings is the MSI GD65 and 4690kc ... SLI, 4 RAM slots, 7.1 sound, military spec hardened components ...(humidity and water resistant) .... I'd pair it with the MSI 970 to get "sole source responsibility" if u ever need Tech Support.

Grab a EVGA 750 watt B2 PSU while they are $50 on newegg ... will power two 970s.

The CPU+GPU comes down to $900, then for RAM+PSU+Case+Storage+OS, deduct another $400-550. We got around $100 to spare, Asus Z97 A is what I'd recommend, comes at around $140, excellent OCer and feature ladden.

Also, forgot to include dual and quad channel memory issue, thanks to Tradesman1, its nice and clear now :)

You might want to take a look at this list for some idea of how the system would look:
