Hi guys,

I did a ton of research before posting here but to no avail. I recently upgraded my bios from version 1.2 to 2.2 (yes i know stupid idea) and I did not see the warning that the 2.2 update does not work with sandy bridge processors. The update worked properly but now windows 8.1 will not boot and is stuck in the loading screen until it either blue screens or launches startup repair. I have found threads where people have gotten the update to work with sandy bridge but I do not know how to do so. I have tried changing the hard drive settings and boot priorities but nothing works. I am unsure how to rollback the bios but if there is a safe way to do so from external media I would like to try that.

Thank you!
