GTX 960 simulated benchmarks are out, and it performs like this

http://wccftech.com/nvidia-geforce-gtx-960-track-release-month-simulated-benchmarks-surface/

Read that article and you can see that the gtx 960 is worth its price, getting better benchmarks than the gtx 770 and that's really good for a graphics card which is only around $250. Also lower your ssd to a 128gb and that should lower your price and make it more affordable for you.
a 120 gig SSD would lower the price

It might be worth holding off a few weeks for the release of the nVidia GTX 960 .
It may be much better value than current Radeons . The 970 and 980 definitely are .

Use windows 8.1 and save a few dollars too . Its easy to add a start button with Classic Shell and you get a faster OS with some nice new features and you can use it on two more computers

How much better are those cards than my current option? I don't really understand benchmarks with the numbers not as fps, oh and im trying to make this pc last a long time and have you got any other suggestions for my build? I dont know about windows 8.1, its very differnt

8.1 is very different , but by installing the program I mentioned [ classic shell ] you can make win 8 look and behave like win 7 , xp or even 98 .

No one has seen benchmarks for the GTX 960 yet . None are for sale . But the 970 and 980 are massive improvements in performance for a given price and they use much less power to do it .
Waiting a bit seems smart

In the meantime you can build the rest of the computer and run it using the onboard graphics
