Hello,
I have had this computer for just over a year now and it has worked without a problem but a few days ago I moved and when I plugged everything in I decided to boot the PC but noticed that my graphics card was no longer working and nor was my onboard LAN. The LAN was no longer being picked up by the motherboard and when I reinstalled the drivers for my graphics card (Asus HD 7770 2GB), it still was not working and it was the same case for my onboard LAN. I used the drivers found here:
http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/NETWORK-CARD/Atheros/Gigabyte-GA-78LMT-S2P-rev-40-Atheros-LAN-Driver-2044.shtml and had no success. Afterwards, I decided to reinstall my OS and upgrade it to Windows 8 although when doing it again, I had exactly the same problem -- installed drivers, nothing working and graphics card displaying as "Basic Display Adapter" when looking in device manager. I ensured everything was as it was inside the PC when I left.
This is not my trade and I have no idea what to do... could someone help me please?
Components:
CPU: FX 6100
GPU: Asus HD 7770 2GB
Motherboard: GA-78LMT-S2P
SSD: HyperX 128GB SSD
HDD: 500GB 5400RPM (unsure of what it is, took it from an old computer but can check if necessary)
