Hello, I have a Phenom II x4 965 BE on a 870 chipset mobo and a AMD HD6850 graphics card. I can't upgrade the whole system so the question is, with about 150-200 which component to upgrade?
I want to be able to play the new Evil Within game on 2560x1440 resolution. Not necessarily on high quality settings.

Definitely the 6850, I had a 6870 and could barely play older games at Full 1080 at ultra settings, the 965 is still a capable processor.

Nice, thank you. I got one more question. I've heard that Radeon GPU based cards are too noisy and hot. I don't really like noisy systems so on "best graphics cards for the money" article I spotted the Nvidia 750Ti which is like 60W. Is it way slower than a lets say R7 265?

I think everyone over exagerates AMD products when it comes to heat. My FX-8320 only gets to about 46 or 47c on BF4 and video rendering.. Which is about the same give or take as a i5 4690K.. As for the GPU i have the MSi 270X and it doesn't get that hot Maaybe 55-60C max..

take a look at this article (and others.. just google Devil 270X temperature or noise and see what you think) it shouldn't be too loud unless you ramp the fans up to 100%... and since its a hefty cooler 45 or 60% should be enough to keep temperatures down. it would also give much better performance than a 750ti, and honestly i would put up with a few more dB of noise for 25-30fps more in games.. thats just my thoughts though

Thank for your reply, again. I think that I will take the AMD way (even though I prefer the more efficient design of nvidia) simply because I believe that on the desktop side its the power that matters. Unlike laptops-tablets where efficiency matters more than anything.

Im sure you wont be disappointed that much I mean I run a 270X with a open case (missing side panel) and its barely noticeable at 45% but when you get it up to 70% and 80% thats when it gets noisey.
