My curent set up is a ASRock H77M mother board, 600 V PSU, i7 3770 3,40 GHz CPU DDR3 2x 4GB RAM, GTX 660 2GB GPU. The PSU is a LC600H-12 V2.31 and my new GPU will be a Gigabyte GeForce GTX-970 Gaming Windforce 3X 4096 MB DDR5.

LC600H-12 V2.31:
- 1x 20/24 pin 40cm
- 1x 4+4 pin GPU 12V
- 1x PCI-Express 6 pin
- 1x PCI-Express 6+2 pin
- 6x SATA 2x 40/2x 55cm
- 3x molex 2x 70cm
- 2x FDD 80cm

So my suestion is the 6+2 pin the same as the 8 pin (I found out on the Internet it should be), and my biggest concern is that the cable for the 6+2 pin is coming from the 6 pin PCI-Express, is that like it should be ? I really don't want to damage my computer because of that, but at the other hand I dont want to spend money on it when I dont have to ? So will be my PSU good enough for my Gigabyte GeForce GTX-970 Gaming Windforce 3X 4096 MB DDR5 ?PSUs picture:http://static.kupindoslike.com/A-R-Napajanje-600W-LC-Power-LC600H-12-V2-31_slika_XL_3603464.jpg

Solution
Well It will power it in any cases as the card uses 8 pin and 6 pin connections simultaneously so you should be fine however I wouldn't risk that card with that PSU as the GPU is a massive overclocker and haven't heard of that PSU before it might be fried if you overclocked.
