Hi,

I purchased an EVGA Geforce GTX 750Ti GPU, and I would ideally like to install it in a mini ITX case. However, the GPU has a dual PCIe slot width (only due to the heatsink size, the card itself requires one PCIe slot). I can't seem to find mini ITX motherboards that have more than one PCIe slot, so I'm wondering if there's no choice but to go for micro ATX, or if a certain structure/layout of a mini ITX motherboard could accommodate the GPU size. If so, what exactly am I looking for, specifications-wise?

P.S. I would prefer a Z97 chipset.

Thanks a lot!

His case won't support an ATX motherboard.

If you have and only plan on using one card all you need is one PCI-E X16 slot. Why do you need two?

I don't yet own a case, I just bought the GPU and was hoping to buy a mini ITX Motherboard and case for it.
I don't exactly need two slots for the GPU, I just need the space of two slots in order for the GPU to fit in. Like I said, its width takes up the space of two slots, but it only really attaches into one of them.
The question is if there is a mini ITX motherboard that can accommodate that.

I was referring his comment to this statement "like to install it in a mini ITX case. ". Sorry for confusion.

One slot will suffice with space, two slots are not needed for one card.

All motherboards line up with the rear brackets so there won't be a problem with one slot, even if it's width is two.

With one card and one slot space won't be an issue as it will fit, especially with the small card you listed.

I hope this is answers the confusion.

No chance that there'd be something on the motherboard itself, adjacent to the PCIe slot, blocking the full width of the card from fitting in? I'm just not sure how to check that...

nope, all motherboards are designed to not block graphics cards from any slot.
