Awhile ago, I dropped my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and the colours have been messed up and look inverted. I used to be able to knock it a few times and the colours would become normal, but someone that I know was a bit too rough with it and now the colours are messed up again. I can't afford getting a new screen and I can't claim it on insurance. The tablet works fine, but it's just the screen.

If your screen is busted, it's busted. There isn't really any kind of quick fix or workaround for that. You'll have to get it replaced, or attempt to replace it yourself--this is not recommended unless you have experience with that because you're more likely to mess it up even more.
