My laptop currently uses a 4GB 1Rx8 PC3-12800S-11-12-B2 stick and I want another 4GB stick to bring it up to it's 8GB max. What sort of 4GB RAMs are compatible?

The laptop is an Acer Aspire E1-571.

1st of all, do you have a 64 bit system? If so, your system will be able to use the 8 GBs of RAM. If it`s 32 bit, dont bather.

I believe this is your laptop. http://www.acer.co.uk/ac/en/GB/content/model/NX.M09EK.0...
It clearly states that it uses DDR3 SDRAM. So basically, any DDR3 laptop RAM should work just fine.
Something like this http://www.bestbuy.com/site/kingston-technology-4gb-160...$abcat0506002&cp=1&lp=4#tab=buyingOptions should work just fine.
Your memory is 12800, which means 1600 MHz RAM speed, so make sure you choose the other stick with the same speed, else they will both down speed to 1333 or lower.

Good luck!

Cheers :) . I do use a 64bit system. I'd be getting the RAM from a UK seller.
