Hey. I had the topic about my dead GPU, about my PC not turning on... now I've only one problem left (my GPU is already dead and going to RMA so that is done):

My monitor won't be recognized no matter what. I'm having to type in my TV and browse and everything else.

Summary of what happened. Was cleaning my room, pulled my PC aside and it overstretched my cable, probably displacing the GTX 690 and damaging it. But then, after that, the monitor would no longer work. It didnt even plugged in directly to the mobo.

I thought the monitors DVI adapter was damaged... or maybe probably the cable. Took it somewhere they would repair it. As soon as I got there, wheen they plugged it in it was working just fine. So I got a replacement cable and still nothing. Then I thought maybe it was the Intel HD Graphics 3000. So I installed a Radeon HD 7770 I had lying around and still nothing!!!!!!!

If I go to screen resolution it KINDA recognizes a second display, just as "DUAL-DVI".

I don't know what else to do. Going to try to reinstall windows. If that doesn't work... well... I'm all out of ideas. Plz do help.

It has only a DVI-D input. On CCC it was not properly recognized, just as in windows. Now I installed Linux, Linux is properly recognizing it, with name and resolution. But it won't display nothing
