League of legends getting low fps

3 months ago i could run a game like league of legends with 70+ fps with high graphics smooth but now everything is medium and fps 60 and laggs alot especially in team fights with every thing on pc no more programs and i always clean files and there's alot of free space in HDD what's causing this fps problem ? how can i fix it ?

specs of my pc :

4 GB RAM
Intel core 2 duo e7500 2.93Ghz
MotherBoard : Gigabyte g41mt-s2p
GPU : nvidia gt 610 2GB memory
windows 7 ultimate

Your graphics card is not very high end but 60 fps is fine to play on. Lag is more likely to be caused by your internet connection but league is a favorite target for hackers depending on what server you play on. Some of the servers have been laggy lately

ping is static at 80 ms i can differntiate between a lag caused by internet and a lag caused by my pc :) and i've been playing league for 3 years now and I didn't even spot a single hacker.. I was thinking if I downgrade to windows xp maybe things will run more smoothly , right ?

Good luck with the windows XP downgrade. Has anything changed on your system? Install new software, updates, or virus/malware? Has LoL done any updates to the game lately?


Hackers don't have to be in the game to see them, they could just be throwing packets at the server slowing the server down making the game lag server side.

And 60 frames is plenty to play on. if your frames have dropped it could be due to malware. Dont downgrade to windows xp its the most targeted of for viruses and is no longer patched for security. And i don't mean in game hackers I mean people who target the servers. League has been patched recently and when the new summoners rift comes out expect an increase in framerate, i tested it and got 20+ frames more

my brother has a pc with same spec as mine but with an E8500 processor and i think his motherboard is decent than mine "alot" and windows xp , he have league run on very high with shadow and uncapped with 80+ most of time stable even inteam fights :D i need an explain for that
